Electromagnetic fields (EMF's) consists of both magnetic field and electric field components. The ever increasing use of electricity has now caused the human body to be radiated by human made magnetic and electric fields more than ever before. Envirodetox aims to address the potential sources of electromagnetic fields (EMF's) according to building biology principles.
The Electromagnetic Field (EMF) Audit
Envirodetox offers a comprehensive Electromagnetic field (EMF) testing service. Utilising a triaxial gauss meter, elfix detector and a body voltage kit, all sources of magnetic field radiation and electric field radiation are detected and recordings compiled in a report. This report will then provide detailed recommendations to eliminate or reduce Electromagnetic Field (EMF) exposure levels within the home or workplace.
Sources of EMF's can include;- Electrical power lines.
- Electrical sub stations.
- Electric train and tram lines.
- Electrical wiring behind your walls and in your roof.
- Electrical appliances such as bedside lamps and digital clocks.

- Electric blankets.
There is a mounting body of Electromagnetic field research that links certain levels of magnetic field and electric field strength to adverse health affects in the human body. Building Biology guideline levels exist at levels where there is no evidence of human health effects.
